The Soteria Approach:
An NHS / University of Manchester Funded PAR Project and Research Report

An alternative approach to psychiatric inpatient treatment in the UK. We supported bimonthly check-ins and follow up for core members of the research team to define project scope, outcomes, stakeholder involvement and project strategy.

Business Boost:
A UoM / ESRC Funded Research Consultancy Project

Generating solutions to real-world business problems with PhD graduates operating as research assistants, using PAR. We provided supervision and training for these teams to enable the expectations of the companies to be met, reporting back through conference calls and reports.

Graphene, the ‘wonder material’:
An UoM / Health Innovation Manchester Funded Research Conference and Workbook

Bringing together academic researchers, medical device manufacturers, clinicians and SMEs to collaborate and discuss the current and future application of graphene in biomedicine.  We provided document design, conference management, research facilitation, analysis and write up.

An Evaluation of Services;
A Proud Trust funded PAR Project and Research Report

Engaging with service users to collect, generate and analyse data to inform the charities annual report and strategic plan with a focus on stakeholder engagement. We led on the codesign of PAR and wrote up findings into a research report to inform a set of recommendations and follow-up discussions regarding the implementation of these.

Westminster City Council: 
An Evaluation of Services; A YAs / WCC funded PAR Project and Research Report 

Training and guiding a team of six researchers to collect and organise relevant, good quality data for analysis to inform the redesign of youth employment services and online provision in Westminster. The report was presented to Westminster’s Work and Skills Board and continues to inform youth employment services and online provision in Westminster.

An Evaluation of Services;
An MMU / Langworthy Cornerstone funded PAR Project and Research Report

Training and guiding a team of ten bilingual researchers, employed as Manchester Metropolitan University staff to collect qualitative transcripts in 11 different languages to understand how the centre could better support the needs of a growing and ethnically diverse community. The research recommendations were used to inform the next phase of the organisation’s business strategy.
